Mission

Escuela Pacífica (EP) is a unique learning opportunity for children in first through sixth grade in the Todos Santos area. EP creates multi-cultural bi-lingual intimate classroom settings that offer a joyful interdisciplinary approach to motivate lifelong learning. EP utilizes community involvement and sustainability to create and inspire productive global citizens.

What makes EP unique?

● EP is a non-profit school and will apply part of its tuition and donations to scholarships for many students in order to create diverse classroom settings.

● EP has Secretaria de Educacion Publica (SEP) accreditation.

● In addition to the standard SEP curriculum in language, arts, science, mathematics, social studies and physical education, EP will focus on multiculturalism, ecology, languages, active Learning, child development, Music, arts and technology.

● EP is oriented to have an open learning environment with intimate interdisciplinary groups.

● EP seeks to be a center of connection, knowledge and sharing by opening its doors to public programs such as ecology, language, sports, cultural arts and technology.

● EP will promote green living and sustainability by hosting a recycling program and an organic garden.

 

About the Todos Santos community

Todos Santos is a pueblo with a diverse population of 6000 in Baja California Sur, Mexico, which is surrounded by stunning desert, ocean and oasis landscapes. Recently it was declared a Pueblo Magico honoring its heritage, legends and history. Its small town pace, variety of outdoor activities, pristine natural environment and mild micro-climate make it an ideal place to live and raise children.

 

To date over 25 volunteers and organizations have committed to providing assistance to EP.
